Well, I remember people saying this to me when I wasn’t that much younger. I also remember denying vehemently that they were right, when they told me “school is the best time of your life” or “Just wait until youre in the real world and you have to actually work!”
But me being the child I was (and in some respects still am) just waved my hand “Yeah, yeah,” I say and carried on. Working away like a beaver building a dam, and now I dont find that they were right per se, but they werent as wrong as I wanted to think back then. If I had a do-over there is little I would change, maybe my career path choice, but thats all and so I think that means I’ve got a satisfactory life right? So far anyway.
Well, I did have a point to this…when I began writing it, thats what you get for writing a blog post at midnight, while reading, listening to ACDC’s War Machine(in headphones) and trying to talk on msn/in real life. Though I think it says something for my awesome skills of multi-tasking. So uuuuh….heres a loaf of bread Adam let go moudly in the cupboard while we were at uni…..

Mouldy Mould Mould.....though I cant remember how it got this way
Just while I’m off on a tangent, another thing that happened this week was a realisation that the English language is stupid. The word Fluke(excellent homonym) – Four completly different meanings for the same word. Worcester – Prounounced nothing like what it looks like. Those pesky their, there and they’re that confuse the hell out of anyone trying to learn the language and thats before you get the hang of our grammar (Nouns, verbs, adverbs). But yes, is English the only language that has words that spell the same and mean different things, or sound exactly the same to say but are spelt perfectly worlds apart. Homonyms, and Homophones (rain, reign, rein), are something I think many native English speakers would have trouble with (and to be honest if I said give me a homophone I’m not sure even some of my university Educated friends would remember what one was. You totally dont need them after high school unless youre going into a profession which requires it.)
Hehe, ok, I’ll stop that there before I bring down the the English education system for its failures to some more…specialised students. Though I suppose it ties into my original “good old days” title, since School was indeed one of those periods in life I look back on and remember how I thought it was difficult and laugh. It really wasnt.
Ok (again) so its been more than a day since I started this, its been about a week, so I think I’ll just finish it by saying I have no idea what I was babbling about, but this is my blog so I can babble all I like. Later today, or tomorrow (or a week from now) I shall put up some pics about random walks I’ve been going on, they are all very pretty. hehe.
Sayonara, I’m off to watch the Avengers cartoon or something. Oh and if I didnt say so already, the Thundercats anime is a must see!! Everyone go watch it. Thundercats HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Thundercats are loose. xD
